Feine Melodie [ photo gallery ]

Feine Melodie was born in 2002 (along with Cassia's ET foal Domai) and has progressed nicely as a dressage horse. We are offering her for sale at this point. Her trainiing is solid 2nd level, and she has good show experience under her belt. She is a very friendly and highly rideabile horse - just like her pedigree suggests. Feine Melodie is in training with former WEG competitor and Canadian Team member Elizabeth McConnell and most recently finished with scores of 68% and 71% at first level, test 3 and 4, respectively. She is offered for sale.

born 2002; Oldenburg

The sire Feinbrand was born in 1986, and was the Reserve Champion at his stallion approval in Oldenburg. He had a combined career as competition and breeding stallion. After the inspection of his first crop of foals and after passing the Adelheidsdorf stallion performance test, he was proclaimed Oldenburg Champion Stallion. Feinbrand was the Reserve Champion at the Oldenburg Breed Championships as a 4yr old (scoring 9.5 on his trot) and won a bronze medal at the German Bundeschampionat in Verden. In 1991 he was fourth in the German Bundeschamionat in Munich, and in 1995 he won the 5-year-old-division at the Oldenburg Breed Championship in Radstede. He repeated his Radstede victory the year after as a 6-year-old. In 1996 Feinbrand was presented at Prix St Georges level and established a string of top five placements. He stood at various locations throughout Germany, and found a loveing hoem at Gestüt Schlossäcker in South Germany in the 90s. At the beginning of the 1998 breeding season, Feinbrand moved to Holland, but only stood at stud for two seasons in that country. Early in 2000, he moved to the United States and has since then become an even more popular sire of successful dressage horses.
