Woodstock Magic
Woodstock Magic , or short "Woody" was born at Sunsprite in 1997 and was the first foal of our TB mare Rodan's Princess xx at the farm. He was raised by us, and alos started under saddle before we sold him as a competition horse to Canada. Woody has had great success as a show jumper and we're always happy to get updates from his owners.

 The sire Welt Klasse (pictured left) is a black Hanoverian son of the century sire Weltmeyer and stands in North America. He was our choice for Rodan's first foal because of his excellent movement with very good rhythm and balance, and his solid Hanoverian pedigree with roots in the Trakehner and TB breeds. When breeding a full TB mare it is important in our opinion that some TB connection is a given in the pedigree, and Welt Klasse offers the outstanding performance horse lines of Der Löwe xx (Lugano II - Lungau line) and Perser xx (sire of Presto). Weltmeyer also carries his share of refinement blood through Absatz - Abglanz, the famous Trakehner stallion, and Semper Idem, another very important Trakehner stallion and foundation sire in the Hanoverian breed.
Woody inherited his sire's lovely gaits and his conformation is a nice blend of his ancestors. He is clearly a son of his mother, and knowing Rodan's Princess' other offspring at the farm, it is very obvious what a great producer this particular mare is. Woody is a very reliable and succcessful sport horse with a competition career, and is a perfect example of what we hope to accomplish here at Sunsprite: breeding sane and sound performance horses with talents for all disciplines.
